Job Offer: Aircraft Structure Assembler

Location: Mirabel (QC)
Company: AAA Canada (mandate for a major player in aeronautics)
Schedule: Day / evening shift
Expected Start: April 2026
Type: Full-time, permanent

About the project

Reporting to the production supervisor, the assembler's mission is to perform assembly, mounting, adjusting, and installation operations on prefabricated modules and sub-assemblies to build aircraft. They work independently or in a team using a technical file, and must ensure the quality and compliance of the work according to current standards.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and read manufacturing and installation blueprints;
  • Perform all operations necessary for mounting, adjusting, repairing, and installing mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic parts;
  • Manufacture simple structural parts and install aircraft structural elements;
  • Assemble and adjust sub-assemblies and structural assemblies of aircraft airframes and systems;
  • Set up and operate manual or automated machines and tools;
  • Verify the compliance of aircraft assemblies using measuring instruments;
  • Ensure the compliance of assemblies in relation to the manufacturing file.

Profile sought

  • Academic training: Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Structure Assembly or Systems Installation.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a structure assembler in the aeronautics field or a related field, and successfully pass an evaluation demonstrating basic technical skills.

Special requirements:

  • Mastery of aeronautical technical language and blueprint reading.
  • Good knowledge of structure and systems assembly, as well as FOD management.
  • Good manual skills, very good dexterity, meticulousness, and precision.
  • Rapid analytical capacity to find defects.
  • Sense of responsibility (part compliance), ease of teamwork, and adaptability.
