Collins Aerospace is currently looking for an Assembler for its C-Series (A220) nacelle integration unit in Mirabel, Quebec.
Work Shift: Monday - Friday (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)
What You Will Do
- Perform electrical, hydraulic and mechanical assembly of aircraft engine components including fan cowls, thrust reversers and inlets. This includes installing and removing components from engines.
- Testing component connectivity and functionality, rigging, torquing and sealing aircraft systems.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Diploma in aircraft maintenance technology, or DEP in aircraft mechanical assembly, or equivalent.
- Must be bilingual, able to read and write in English and French.
This position requires communicating orally and in writing with engineering teams and customers located in the United States. Following an analysis, we have determined that some tasks require knowledge of English (verbal and written). Collins Aerospace restricts as much as possible the number of positions for which it requires knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires proficiency in English when necessary to perform an employee's job duties.
