JOB OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, a successful candidate shall support our Warehouse, Distribution and Engine Assembly operations in one of the following areas:
Logistics
this post requires the use of material handling equipment to move materials and Work In Progress (WIP) around the facility, unload and stage incoming modules and materials; and prepare engines and modules for delivery to our customers. This exciting opportunity is well suited to candidates who have experience in Shipping/Receiving and loading dock environments. Must be able to use large forklifts to move heavy, high value materials and load / unload flatbed and container trailers.
Shipping
this post deals with the preparing of materials and documents to be sent to our customers, vendors and partners as required. This post is ideal for team players who will work together to process and package shipments on demand or follow the priority list. Good knowledge of import / export, Transport of Dangerous Goods, and FedEx order entry is an asset.
Receiving
this post requires a high attention of detail as you will be responsible for processing incoming Purchase and Repair orders. The Receiver is responsible for verifying the quantity, quality and accuracy of incoming orders and documentation and routing materials to the appropriate warehouse or production area as required. Candidates who are strong solo performers are ideal for this post. Ability to follow priority lists and handle urgent requests is required.
Warehouse and Distribution
this post is responsible for the stocking and retrieval of our engine materials and components. This is an ideal role for team players and people who like dynamic and exciting environments. Main duties include picking and storing materials, routing of material to appropriate warehouses, delivering picked material to production areas, handling unserviceable materials and dispositioning accordingly. Picking and staging sales orders for packaging. Maintaining materials and documentation in excellent condition is a priority. Candidates with Warehouse or Distribution Centre experience are preferred.
Kitting
this post is responsible for the selection and kitting of serviceable material to support our engine assembly operations. Following the kitting list, you will select material from the appropriate warehouses. Verify the condition and place in kits for easy retrieval by technicians during final assembly. Must be able to read technical drawings and keep accurate records.
Candidates must be available for the following shifts:
Day Shift - Monday to Friday 05h30 - 14h00
Afternoon Shift – Monday to Thursday 13h30 - 00h30
Weekend Shift – Friday to Sunday 05h30 – 17h30
Responsibilities:
- Control administrative and physical conformity of materials.
- Perform necessary transactions associated with material in ERP system in accordance with Production Cell requirements.
- Ensure timely support and movement of material within the Production Cells and across the various cells within our operations.
- Check the accuracy of merchandise and affix identification labels.
- Place materials in designated storage areas.
- Move materials to store or buffer area, Pack, unpack and stage materials.
- Receive trucks and unload merchandise.
- Comfortably operate warehouse rolling equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or equivalent. Some College preferred.
- Bilingual (English and French).
- Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work as a team member to achieve the company’s quality and production standards.
- Quick thinker able to take initiative when required
- General knowledge of warehouse/stockroom environment preferred.
- Detail and quality oriented. Able to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and ask for help when needed.
- Experience with data entry and warehouse management software.
