Job Description

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Supplier Quality Auditor (Procurement) to join our A220 Procurement Quality team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).
You will be part of the A220 Procurement Quality team responsible for administering approvals and reviewing controls for Airbus A220 suppliers for manufacturing processes and the quality management system. The team organization is structured to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role as a Supplier Quality Auditor will be to ensure supplier compliance and monitoring by evaluating their manufacturing processes (controlled processes) and quality management systems to minimize operational risks.
Your challenges:
Manage supplier quality management assessments to comply with A220 program quality and regulatory requirements using interviews and documentation reviews.
Manage requests for evaluating aerospace manufacturing processes (controlled processes) from suppliers "on Time" and "on Quality" (and "On Cost" if applicable) to ensure compliance with A220 program specifications.
Evaluate supplier quality performance and risk.
Audit suppliers on aerospace manufacturing processes (controlled processes) on-site, virtually, or "by desk."
Identify supplier risks and collaborate with internal organizations to secure appropriate actions.
Ensure that all A220 suppliers are monitored in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Ensure supply chain compliance according to current processes, identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement.
Plan supplier control review activities to support the A220 program.
Contribute to the overall transformation of the "Procurement Quality" department and be a proactive player in the development and implementation of the "Digital business solution."
Requirements
Your profile:
Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent in quality, or engineering in a field related to the manufacturing industry (aeronautics, mechanical, engineering, project management, etc.).
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Direct work experience with suppliers in the aerospace industry (quality management systems).
Relevant experience in supplier auditing for aerospace manufacturing processes (controlled processes).
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of Nadcap, AS9100, and ISO 9001 standards.
Experience in project management (principles and tools).
High level of knowledge of SAP software.
Good working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
Essential bilingualism, both oral and written.
Being a member of a recognized professional auditing association would be an asset.
Good knowledge of Airbus Commercial tools and processes would be an asset.
Demonstrate leadership, autonomy, flexibility, integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and ethics.
