Job Summary
As part of the industrialization of the A220 aircraft program with our partner/client, the primary role of the "Structure Calculator" profile sought is to ensure that stress analysis, within its scope, complies with certification requirements for the primary structure in static and fatigue. Knowledge of secondary structures and system installations is an asset.
Your challenges:
The structure calculator reports directly to the Stress Team Leader and is responsible for:
- Ensuring that the technical scope is well respected according to client requirements, program needs and manufacturing requirements.
- Participating in stress analyses of the primary and/or secondary structure within its scope: . Supporting technical decisions related to the stress analysis of the primary structure, . Supporting technical decisions for fixed and mobile supports,
- Preparing the main technical deliverables and ensuring the conformity of technical deliverables according to Airbus Atlantic and client requirements; Participating in the analysis and implementation
Desired profile
- Bachelor's/Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in primary metallic structure stress analysis (skin/frames/stringers...)
- Knowledge of aeronautical calculation processes and methods (Airbus Atlantic, Bombardier, Airbus Canada Processes and Methods)
- Proficiency in Catia (consultation), and good command of NASTRAN, PATRAN (use of existing models, extraction of efforts/stresses...), as well as VBA programming
- Experience in calculating sheet metal and machined parts
- Possesses good written and oral communication skills
- Project management experience would be a plus
- Languages: French, English (technical)
