Job Summary
As part of the industrialization of the A220 aircraft program with our partner/client, the primary role of the sought-after "Structure Calculator" profile is to ensure that the stress analysis, within its scope, complies with certification requirements for primary structure in static and fatigue conditions. Knowledge of secondary structures and system installations is an asset.
Your Challenges:
The structure calculator reports directly to the Stress Team Leader and is responsible for:
• Ensuring that the technical scope is strictly respected according to client requirements, program needs, and manufacturing requirements.
• Participating in stress analyses of the primary and/or secondary structure within their scope:
. Supporting technical decisions related to the stress analysis of the primary structure,
. Supporting technical decisions for fixed and mobile supports,
• Preparing key technical deliverables and ensuring the conformity of technical deliverables according to the requirements of Airbus Atlantic and the client;
Participating in analysis and implementation
Profile Sought
• Bachelor's/Master's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in primary metallic structure stress analysis (skin/frames/stringers...)
• Knowledge of aeronautical calculation processes and methods (AIRBUS Atlantic, BOMBARDIER, AIRBUS Canada Processes and Methods)
• Ability to use Catia (consultation), and good proficiency in NASTRAN, PATRAN (use of existing models, extraction of loads/stresses...), as well as VBA programming
• Experience in calculation of sheet metal and machined parts
• Possesses good written and oral communication skills
• Project management experience would be a plus
• Languages: French, English (technical)
