Job Summary

As part of the industrialization of the Global 7500/8000 aircraft program with our partner/client, the primary role of the "Metallic Structure Stress Analyst" is to ensure that the stress analysis, within their scope, complies with certification requirements for primary structure, secondary structures, and system installations.

Your Challenges:

  • Ensure that the technical scope is properly respected according to client requirements, program needs, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Participate in stress analyses of the primary structure, secondary structure, and system installations within their scope:
    • Support technical decision-making related to the stress analysis of the primary structure
    • Support technical decision-making for fixed and mobile supports
    • Support technical decision-making for all assigned system installations
  • Prepare key technical deliverables and ensure compliance of technical deliverables following the requirements of Airbus Atlantic and the client;
  • Participate in the analysis and implementation of changes with the program, supply chain, production, and clients;
  • Draft test reports.
  • Validate developed methodologies by correlating tests with calculations.

Profile Sought

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering;
  • Knowledge of primary metallic and/or composite structure stress calculation, secondary structure, and system installations;
  • Knowledge of aeronautical calculation processes and methods (AIRBUS Atlantic, BOMBARDIER, AIRBUS Canada Processes and Methods);
  • Good command of Catia/Enovia, NASTRAN, PATRAN;
  • Experience in sheet metal and machined part calculation;
  • Experience in composite part calculation (an asset);
  • Knowledge of configuration management rules;
  • Knowledge/awareness of tolerancing (GD&T);
  • Good written and oral communication skills;
  • Bilingual English / French (verbal and written)
