MRB Structure Analyst

Location: Mirabel (QC)

Job Description

We are assisting our client, a leader in the aeronautical industry, in recruiting an MRB Structure Analyst.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in stress analyses of primary and secondary structures to validate proposed concessions and, if necessary, quickly provide an alternative solution.
  • Ensure that fatigue and damage tolerance (DTA) requirements are met by validating concessions proposed by calculation.
  • Quickly evaluate structural problems and provide technical guidance and necessary support to members of the MRB Liaison team.

Required Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in stress analysis on metallic primary structures (skin, frames, stringers, etc.).
  • Knowledge of aeronautical calculation processes and methods.
  • Proficiency in CATIA (consultation) as well as NASTRAN and PATRAN (use of existing models, extraction of forces and stresses).
  • Experience in calculating sheet metal and machined parts.
  • Experience in calculating composite parts (an asset).
  • Experience in MRB calculation.
  • Good knowledge of repair techniques.
  • Ability to manage stress and work under pressure.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Technical level in English (oral and written).
  • Functional level in French (oral) for team meetings and daily exchanges.
