We are looking for a Business Manager to join our Tooling team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada)

You will be part of the Business Manager team that develops industrial equipment / Tooling for the manufacturing of the A220 in Mirabel & Mobile.

Your role as Business Manager will be manufacturing planning, work monitoring, on-site installation and budget monitoring.

Your challenges:

  • Interpret, understand and respect plans and specifications;
  • Work in close collaboration with all company departments and act as a conductor to ensure efficient work from everyone:
  • Ensure compliance with OHS standards for equipment.
  • Management of engineering services subcontracting (Plan, coordinate and schedule):
  • Create and monitor the general project planning while managing unforeseen events and constraints so as not to impact important deadlines;
  • Ensure budget monitoring;
  • Lead multi-departmental meetings and ensure that each collaborator is engaged;
  • Find solutions during the various issues that will be encountered during the project;
  • Present project progress reports to the steering committee
  • Act as a general point of contact for clients during the development project;
  • Ensure the quality of technical documents used for calls for tender (specifications of working standards and appendices) through appropriate methodological support and support for project managers on the subcontracting process,

Your profile:

  • You hold a degree (Bachelor's) in engineering, operations management or equivalent;
  • You have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industrial sector or in a similar position, all combinations of relevant training and experience could be considered;
  • You demonstrate good analytical and organizational skills;
  • You are recognized for your reliability and autonomy in your work as well as your ability to work in a team;
  • You are stimulated by changes in your work;
  • You possess good adaptability to a high work pace;
  • You master French and English, an asset.
