Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the company's environmental policies and programs;
  • Support the environmental manager;
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of environmental data (energy consumption, water, waste, GHG emissions, etc.);
  • Assist in preparing reports, dashboards and environmental performance indicators;
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts (regulatory monitoring, tracking permits and authorizations, hazardous materials management);
  • Implement and support ISO 14001 initiatives;
  • Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects (waste reduction, energy efficiency, circular economy);
  • Perform tasks in accordance with the company's vision, doctrine and code of ethics;
  • Apply and comply with safety rules at all times;
  • Apply and comply with our policy and quality system rules;
  • All other related duties.

Requirements

  • DEC or bachelor's degree in an environmental field (environmental sciences, environmental engineering or related discipline);
  • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to write reports and policies;
  • Strong interest in environmental issues and sustainability;
  • Organizational skills, autonomy and rigor;
  • Autonomous and organized;
  • Responsible and resourceful;
  • Able to manage multiple files concurrently in changing situations;
  • Good communicator;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Solid interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to communicate complex and ideological subjects in a simple and inspiring way.
