Main responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation and monitoring of the company's environmental policies and programs;
- Support the environmental manager;
- Participate in the collection and analysis of environmental data (energy consumption, water, residual materials, GHG emissions, etc.);
- Assist in the preparation of reports, dashboards and environmental performance indicators;
- Support regulatory compliance efforts (regulatory watch, monitoring permits and authorizations, hazardous materials management);
- Implement and support ISO14001 implementation initiatives;
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement projects (waste reduction, energy efficiency, circular economy);
- Perform tasks in compliance with the company's vision, doctrine and code of ethics;
- Apply and comply with safety rules at all times;
- Apply and comply with the rules of our policy and our quality system;
- All other related tasks.
Desired profile
- DEC or bachelor's degree in an environmental field (environment, environmental sciences, environmental engineering or related discipline);
- Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to write reports and policies;
- Strong interest in environmental issues and sustainability;
- Organizational skills, autonomy and rigor;
- Autonomous and organized;
- Responsible and resourceful;
- Able to manage several files simultaneously, in changing situations;
- Good communicator;
- Strong sense of analysis and problem solving;
- Solid interpersonal skills;
- Ability to communicate complex and ideological subjects in a simple & inspiring way.
