We are looking for our new industrialization manager (supply chain pilot) for our subsidiary SOLUTIONS LATESYS based in Brossard.

What do we offer?

The industrialization manager reports to the supply chain manager.

Their main mission is to establish the appropriate industrial scheme in relation to the division's pre-sales projects and to manage the quality performance of providers with a view to achieving the objectives: On Quality Delivery (OQD), On Time Delivery (OTD) & CNQ (Costs of Non-Quality) of our suppliers defined at Group level.
In coordination with the different teams, you will be responsible for managing manufacturing batches in terms of technical aspects, costs, quality, deadlines, and launching calls for tenders.
As such, you will be at the center of negotiations and will ensure the monitoring of supplier contracts.

MISSION 1: GUARANTEE MANUFACTURING AND SUPPLIES

  • Manage manufacturing batches in accordance with internal processes

  • Guarantee the project the availability of manufacturing, supplies or subcontracting services necessary for business in terms of technical aspects, cost, deadlines and quality

  • Ensure and anticipate technical support for the workshop manager or operational site manager

  • Carry out or participate in the costing of the manufacturing part in the tender phase and/or amendment

  • Participate in the various design and progress reviews to provide expertise in "manufacturing management"


MISSION 2: SUPPORT AND TECHNICALLY MONITOR SUBCONTRACTORS AND/OR SUPPLIERS

  • Provide technical support to subcontractors and/or suppliers to anticipate and guarantee the conformity of expected products or subcontracting services

  • Write or participate in the drafting of Technical Specifications of Need specifying the scope of the expected service

  • Manage, track and close modifications, non-conformities or manufacturer and/or subcontracting service provider requests identified during the manufacturing phases (Design Office Evolution, Manufacturer and/or Service Provider error or derogation, Client request)

  • Write or participate in the drafting of "Subcontractor" and/or "Final" acceptance procedures for its batch


MISSION 3: PARTICIPATE IN TOOL DESIGN

  • Monitor on-site development and participate in the design of evolutions and design improvements.


MISSION 4: WORK WITH THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT

  • Prospect and study the market, develop and animate a national and international network of production partners and suppliers (development of North American supply chain), on a sustainable basis

  • Develop purchasing synergies at Group level

Occasional travel is expected in Canada and the United States

Who are you?

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent field

  • French – English (mandatory)

  • Experience in an industrial environment

  • Relevant experience in project coordination.

  • Proven experience in supplier relations and supply chain

  • Customer-oriented

  • Skilled in developing new contacts

  • Able to plan/organize

  • Gifted in interpersonal communication
