We are looking for our new industrialization officer (supply chain pilot) for our subsidiary SOLUTIONS LATESYS based in Brossard.

What do we offer?

The industrialization officer reports to the supply chain manager.

Their main mission is to establish the appropriate industrial scheme in relation to the division's pre-sales projects and to pilot the quality performance of service providers in order to achieve the objectives: On Quality Delivery (OQD), On Time Delivery (OTD) & CNQ (Costs of Non-Quality) of our suppliers defined at the Group level.

In coordination with the various teams, you will be in charge of managing manufacturing lots regarding technical aspects, costs, quality, deadlines, and launching calls for tender.

You will thus be at the center of negotiations and ensure the follow-up of supplier contracts.

MISSION 1: GUARANTEE MANUFACTURING AND SUPPLIES

  • Manage manufacturing lots in agreement with internal processes

  • Guarantee the project the provision of manufacturing, supplies, or subcontracting services necessary for the business in terms of technique, cost, deadlines, and quality

  • Ensure and anticipate technical support to the workshop manager or operational construction site manager

  • Perform or participate in the costing of the manufacturing part in the call for tender and/or amendment phase

  • Participate in various design and progress reviews to provide expertise in "manufacturing management"

MISSION 2: TECHNICALLY SUPPORT AND MONITOR SUBCONTRACTORS AND/OR SUPPLIERS

  • Ensure technical support for subcontractors and/or suppliers to anticipate and guarantee the compliance of expected products or subcontracting services

  • Draft or participate in drafting Technical Requirement Specifications detailing the scope of the expected service

  • Manage, track, and settle modifications, non-conformities, or manufacturer and/or subcontractor requests identified during manufacturing phases (Design Office evolution, manufacturer and/or provider error or derogation, customer request)

  • Draft or participate in drafting "Subcontractor" and/or "Final" acceptance procedures for their lot

MISSION 3: PARTICIPATE IN TOOLING DESIGN

  • Ensure monitoring of development on site and participate in the design of evolutions and design improvements.

MISSION 4: WORK WITH THE PURCHASING DEPARTMENT

  • Prospect and study the market, develop and lead a national and international network of implementing partners and suppliers (development of North American supply chain), in a sustainable manner

  • Develop purchasing synergies at the Group level

Occasional travel is to be expected in Canada and the United States

Who are you?

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent field

  • French – English (mandatory)

  • Experience in an industrial environment

  • Relevant experience in project coordination

  • Confirmed experience in relations with suppliers and supply chain

  • Be customer-oriented

  • Skilled at developing new contacts

  • Know how to plan/organize

  • Be gifted for interpersonal communication
