We are looking for a project manager for our subsidiary Solutions Latesys based in Brossard.
What do we offer?
The Industrialization Manager reports to the Industrialization Lead. Their main mission is to establish the appropriate industrial scheme in collaboration with the Pre-sales team and then manage the Quality/Cost/Delivery performance of our service providers/suppliers until delivery to the final customer.
Your missions:
Guarantee manufacturing and supplies:
Manage manufacturing batches in accordance with our internal processes
Ensure the availability of manufacturing, supplies, or subcontracting services necessary for projects in terms of quality, cost, and deadlines
Provide and anticipate technical support to the workshop manager or site manager
Perform or participate in the costing of the manufacturing part during the tender phase and/or amendment
Participate in various design and progress reviews to provide expertise in "manufacturing management"
Support and technically monitor subcontractors and/or suppliers:
Ensure, with Engineering, the technical support of suppliers to anticipate and guarantee the compliance of products or services
Draft or participate, with Engineering support, in drafting Technical Requirement Specifications detailing the scope of the expected service
Manage, track, and resolve modifications, non-conformities, or manufacturer and/or provider requests during manufacturing phases (Design evolution, Manufacturer error or waiver, New Client request)
Draft or participate in drafting qualification/acceptance procedures for subcontracted activities
Collaborate with Engineering on design evolution and improvement proposals
Ensure monitoring of installation at the customer site
Work with the purchasing department
Collaborate with the Purchasing team to develop and animate our network of partners/suppliers in North America
Develop purchasing synergies at the Group level
Who are you?
Education
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or equivalent
Experience
5 to 8 years of experience in the manufacturing field including at least 3 years in supplier monitoring in a structured industrial environment (aerospace, transport, energy, defense, or similar)
Demonstrated experience in project management / technical procurement
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good mastery of project management tools (MS Project, Excel, collaborative tools)
Technical skills
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (Welding, Machining, NDT)
Fluency in spoken and written French and English (mandatory)
Salary & Benefits:
Salary 80,000 – 95,000 CAD depending on experience
