Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and ensure the execution of configuration management activities for assigned programs, projects, or components.
- Be responsible for deliverables related to configuration management, including change control, product structure updates, and associated documentation.
- Identify items subject to official configuration control.
- Define requirements as well as functional and physical characteristics of items under configuration.
- Ensure configuration control to manage, document, and approve product modifications.
- Organize, lead, and ensure the proper functioning of Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
- Maintain Configuration Status Accounting by recording, tracking, and communicating configuration statuses.
- Carry out configuration verification and audit activities to confirm product compliance with established requirements.
- Work closely with program, engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and customer support teams to ensure effective configuration management.
- Comply with the company's compliance, ethics, and integrity policies to contribute to its reputation, success, and sustainable growth.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in an aerospace-related field or a relevant discipline.
- 4 to 7 years of experience in configuration management or in a comparable manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Good knowledge of configuration management and change control processes.
- Experience in coordinating multidisciplinary projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a structured, regulated, and quality-oriented environment.
