The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Project Management Business Partner (PMBP) to join our A220 Project and Program Management Support team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work with cross-functional teams.
You will be part of the aircraft development project managers team - structure responsible for providing a reliable framework with best practices in project and portfolio management and for providing the services of a community of project management experts to ensure optimal decision-making and protect the Program.
The team's organization is established to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role as a Project Management Business Partner (PMBP) will be to monitor and control the necessary activities in terms of time, cost, quality, and performance to achieve the success of development projects on the A220.
Your area of action will cover the IPT (Integrated Product Team) Empennage & WTBF (Wing to Belly Fairing) as well as major structural modifications:
Be the strategic partner of the Project/IPT (Integrated Product Team) Manager in their responsibility for the Time, Cost, Quality, and Performance of projects.
Ensure good decision-making in line with operational needs and escalate issues as needed.
Develop, harmonize, and update integrated plans.
Ensure the quality of plans through the implementation of performance indicators and compliance with rules.
Manage and control the project scope throughout its lifecycle.
Coordinate Project Management activities in line with the Airbus product development system.
Integrate and analyze financial data, planning data, quality, and performance data of major modifications to provide relevant and transparent analyses on project progress.
Manage risks and opportunities (identification, categorization, recovery plan, etc.).
Use specific project management tools and methodologies to ensure optimal execution.
Establish and manage the governance of multidisciplinary teams, internal and external to Airbus, including engineering, methods, quality, purchasing, and suppliers.
Create synergies within the Project Management community by sharing experience and best practices.
Requirements

Your profile:
You hold a Bachelor's degree in Project Management/Engineering or equivalent.
You have leadership qualities and demonstrate a high level of influence.
You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management.
You have a technical background in aircraft development.
You have good analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
You are open-minded with strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate a great ability to work in a team.
You are organized, have good time management skills, and are autonomous.
Ideally, you have experience and interest in aeronautics.
You are perfectly comfortable communicating in French and English, both orally and in writing.
You have advanced skills with the Google suite.
