In this stimulating role, you will be responsible, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team for which you will assume functional supervision, for the planning, management, updating, and execution of the projects entrusted to you.
The proposed project portfolio is varied and related to the ongoing industrial transformation within our organization.
Responsibilities
- Assume responsibility for the execution of the project portfolio entrusted to you by evaluating the organization's capacity to deliver commitments according to schedules
- Develop a communication plan, inform all stakeholders, and mobilize them to achieve objectives
- Manage budgets and capitalization requests
- Establish the list of project deliverables in collaboration with your team
- Coordinate the weekly project review and the interface between the various company functions
- Evaluate risks and implement required action and mitigation plans
- Establish performance indicators as needed
- Update key indicators and present project progress to various stakeholders
- Initiate, support, participate in, and encourage involvement in the improvement of processes and procedures related to projects
Profile sought
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or administration, a master's degree in project management, or any combination of relevant studies and experience
- Five (5) years of project management experience, including two (2) years in a manufacturing environment;
- PMP certification an asset
- Demonstrate leadership and communication qualities
- Good change management skills
- Comfortable in an environment where priorities evolve rapidly
- Good understanding of issues and dynamics related to contract management and their financial aspects
- Autonomy and resourcefulness
- Solid office automation skills and ability to quickly learn new software (MS Project, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Bilingualism (French/English)
