Chargé(e) de projet – Moyens d’essais aéronautiques

We are looking for a multidisciplinary Design Integrator to join our Flight Test team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work within the Test Means team and in collaboration with various other Engineering disciplines.

You will be part of the Test Means team within the Flight Test department responsible for developing solutions for ground test benches and/or test aircraft.

Your role as a multidisciplinary Design Integrator will be to properly integrate test means solutions for test aircraft with other engineering disciplines (e.g., Structure, Electrical, Stress analysis, etc.)

Your challenges:

• Gather and analyze the requirements and information necessary to specify, design, manufacture, and deliver laboratory test means (LTM - Lab Test Means) and/or on test aircraft.

• Ensure close coordination with various engineering functions to guarantee seamless integration of test means, in perfect compliance with internal processes and QCDP (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Performance) objectives.

• Define technical specifications and test means architecture, steer the selection of industrial suppliers (if required), and ensure project management of subcontracted activities.

• Manage the configuration of aircraft equipment installed on test means, ensure export control compliance (Export Control), and supervise logistical flows (inflows/outflows) of associated materials.

• Steer the financial and operational cycle of projects: budget development, planning, tender processes, production monitoring, and change management during the implementation phase.

• Coordinate end-of-cycle engineering activities: preparation of verification procedures, validation of components and test means, commissioning, and drafting of technical documentation.

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in mechanical or aeronautical engineering with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in aeronautics or a related industry.

• You possess solid knowledge of flight test system installation and design, test benches, and detailed design (sheet metal, machined parts, welding, piping, and component assembly), procedures and drafting standards, costs, and schedule.

• You have good knowledge of CATIA V5R21 and later, ENOVIA, Excel, and MS Office, and Google tools are required.

• You are an energetic person with excellent communication skills and interpersonal qualities that will enable you to achieve desired results in a high-pressure work environment.

• You have a high sense of commitment, the willingness to accept responsibilities and act independently, and the ability to collaborate with partners and suppliers are assets.

• French and English bilingualism (written and spoken) is an asset.
