Job Description

In collaboration with the management of the IT Project Office, the incumbent ensures the planning, coordination, and delivery of strategic or high-visibility IT projects, by mobilizing multidisciplinary teams and ensuring that solutions align with business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business and technology context in order to properly define the scope, objectives, and value of projects.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver projects while respecting scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage the entire project life cycle: needs analysis, options analysis, solution selection, development, testing, go-live, implementation, and change management.
  • Lead various types of IT projects: web and e-commerce, system integration, SaaS solution implementation, business intelligence, technological infrastructure, and regulatory compliance.
  • Mobilize and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams (internal IT resources, business units, external consultants, and vendors).
  • Manage the delivery of external vendors in fixed-price or time-and-materials contexts.
  • Ensure clear and proactive communication with all stakeholders and present progress, issues, and recommendations to steering committees and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with the project management methodology established by the Project Office.

Qualifications

  • University degree in computer science or a related field.
  • More than 10 years of experience in IT, including at least 6 years as an IT project manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering strategic or high-visibility IT projects with a significant impact on business operations.
  • Experience with various types of projects and solutions (web/e-commerce, complex system integration, SaaS solution implementation, business intelligence).
  • Mastery of Agile (Scrum) and traditional (waterfall) methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in an evolving environment.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, planning, organizational, and leadership skills, with a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Excellent mastery of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and planning tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Planner), as well as comfort with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g., Copilot).
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
  • Oral and written fluency in French and English*
    A good command of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will need to communicate frequently in English, orally and in writing, with colleagues, partners, or other stakeholders in Quebec, Canada, and internationally.

PMP or equivalent certifications as well as knowledge of the travel industry are considered assets.
