Summary

The Building Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for overseeing building maintenance activities across all Execaire Aviation bases. This role ensures that each base operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards, while successfully passing building audits and meeting the requirements of local airports and municipalities. The Building Maintenance Team Leader acts as a central point of contact for all infrastructure-related issues and plays an essential role in protecting company assets and maintaining a consistent level of excellence across all sites. They will oversee all activities related to the BMR management system for preventive and corrective issues, processing and assigning them, while ensuring that each item is resolved within efficient timeframes. They will be responsible for ensuring that BMRs are managed daily and processed in collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Execaire Aviation's safety policy
• Lead and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programs across all bases, ensuring the highest level of safety inside and outside all sites
• Oversee supplier contracts and service providers (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repairs) and provide supporting documentation to the finance department
• Perform and support regular on-site inspections to ensure readiness for building audits and to ensure contractors comply with all company regulations and building codes
• Oversee and support capital improvement projects, renovations, as well as building maintenance and upgrades, as needed

Requirements

• College diploma or trade school
• Experience in property or facilities management
• 5+ years of experience in building maintenance in the aviation or industrial industry
• Strong knowledge of building systems
• Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Bilingual (English/French)
