We are hiring for our subsidiary Latesys located in Mirabel, QC.
What we offer
Reporting to the maintenance contract manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, labor code and the company's EH&S policy
- Organize and supervise interventions of a team of 3 to 4 technicians and subcontractors
- Participate in working groups with stakeholders from client services (Maintenance, Methods, Manufacturing, EH&S...)
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor performance and improve equipment reliability
- Contribute to the improvement of means to increase equipment availability
- Maintain reporting within the CMMS
Operational tasks:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electrical faults
- Develop an intervention plan based on diagnostics
- Disassemble and reassemble mechanical systems according to drawings, procedures and standards
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of on-site equipment
- Conduct functional tests after repairs
- Repair and adjust equipment
- Write reports in the CMMS (e.g., Planon, SAP)
- Identify root causes of major failures
- Participate in continuous improvement processes
- Comply with current occupational health and safety standards
Who you are
- DEP in electromechanics or DEC in industrial mechanics
- Knowledge of aerospace-sector tooling is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Able to read and write in French
- Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts
- Successful completion of a federal security screening for controlled goods
- Available for the day shift: 06:00 - 18:30
