Our new Team Leader for our Latesys subsidiary based in Mirabel, QC is currently being sought.

What do we offer?

Reporting to the maintenance contract manager, your main missions will be:

  • Guarantee compliance with safety rules, the application of labor law, and the company's EH&S policy

  • Organize and supervise the interventions of a team of 3 to 4 technicians and subcontractors

  • Participate in working groups with contacts from client departments (Maintenance, Methods, Manufacturing, EH&S...)

  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring, and make installations more reliable

  • Participate in the improvement of resources with a view to increasing their availability rate

  • Ensure reporting in the CMMS tracking system

Operational:

  • Diagnosis and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical breakdowns

  • Develop an intervention plan based on diagnostics

  • Dismantle and reassemble mechanical systems according to plans, procedures, and standards

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment on site

  • Perform functional tests after repairs

  • Repair and adjust equipment

  • Writing reports on CMMS system (Example: Planon, SAP)

  • Identify the causes of major breakdowns

  • Participate in the continuous improvement process

  • Compliance with current OHS standards

Who are you?

  • DEP in electromechanics or DEC in industrial mechanics

  • Knowledge of aeronautical sector tools is an asset

  • Reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings

  • Know how to read and write in French

  • Ability to stand for 12-hour shifts

  • Pass a federal government security screening for controlled goods

  • Available for the day shift: 06:00 - 18:30
