As a project manager for PLM and MES deployments, you will be responsible for executing system deployments to ensure traceability, compliance, and efficiency within complex manufacturing programs.

In partnership with a Program Manager (responsible for ensuring company-wide alignment), you will focus on operational excellence — planning, execution, and integration of PLM and MES solutions within the defined scope and sites.

The position takes place at our Longueuil facility from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Project Execution: Deliver PLM and MES deployments for assigned programs/sites: responsibility for scope, resources, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Planning and Control: Develop detailed plans, manage milestones, dependencies, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) and ensure on-time delivery.
• Workstream Coordination: At all levels of the organization, coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and IT activities required for deployment; escalate cross-functional issues through the Program Manager. Act as an interface between project management, digital technologies, planning, the project team, and operational management.
• System Integration: In collaboration with the IT organization, ensure effective integration of PLM and MES with ERP (for example SAP S/4HANA) and adjacent systems; validate data integrity and interfaces.
• Process Implementation: In collaboration with business teams, coordinate the implementation of standardized processes (configuration management, traceability, shop floor execution) aligned with aerospace industry requirements.
• Tests and Validation: In collaboration with Business Analysts, plan and monitor SIT/UAT test execution, manage anomaly resolution, and ensure production go-live.
• Change Management and Training: In collaboration with the change management expert and the training organization, plan and monitor the execution of site-level transformation plans, training, and cutover activities to ensure successful adoption.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs (schedule adherence, defect rates, adoption, production impact) and provide clear reporting to program management.

What do you need to succeed?

• University degree, with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Proven project planning and leadership skills, including the ability to quickly build trust with sponsors and stakeholders, motivate teams, manage scope and financials, and define the approach.
• Experience with formal project management methodologies and tools (e.g. IPDS, MS Project, PPMC, Jira)
• Strong results orientation; ability to make decisions with limited information.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with an innovative and creative approach.
• Experience in change management, implementation management, readiness management, and end-user experience (an asset)

This position takes place in a French-speaking work environment, nevertheless it requires a functional knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings, and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with clients, suppliers, or international colleagues.
