What are your contributions to the team?
- Identify the needs of the various sectors of the plant and translate them into projects for layout, infrastructure, or facility improvements.
- Develop and recommend safe, innovative solutions tailored to the needs of internal clients and operations.
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from needs assessment to commissioning, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
- Simultaneously lead multiple projects and initiatives, balancing competing priorities, operational constraints, and company objectives.
- Act as a central point of contact between internal clients, internal teams, contractors, and management to facilitate decision-making and project execution.
- Monitor contractors and ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance the safety, efficiency, and performance of the facilities.
- Anticipate risks, constraints, and operational impacts to ensure project success and business continuity.
- Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Manage projects involving the addition, replacement, or relocation of production equipment, infrastructure improvements, workspace design, health and safety, regulatory compliance, and operational optimization.
How to thrive in this role?
- You hold a university or college degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- You have at least three (3) years of project management experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- You are results-oriented and recognized for your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, autonomy, leadership, and a strong problem-solving ability.
- You excel in communication, easily translate technical information, and collaborate comfortably with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools and MS Project; knowledge of AutoCAD or PMP certification is an asset.
- You are interested in evolving in a dynamic and innovative work environment.
