Job offer: Project / Program Manager
Location: Montreal (QC)

Schedule: Day shift

Type: Full-time, permanent
Hybrid position: 4 days on-site and 1 day remote (the day will be flexible)
About the project
As an industrial project / continuous improvement manager, you will use your project management skills to coordinate, plan, and execute manufacturing and/or industrial logistics projects, ensuring that health & safety rules are respected and risks are eliminated.
Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by relying on problem-solving techniques as well as Kaizen, “Six Sigma”, “Lean”, “Design Thinking”, and Agile concepts.
- Implement improvement projects.
- Define and control the evolution, key stages, and control points of the project and monitor them.
- Be responsible for the overall execution of your projects, from initiation to delivery.
- Assume budget responsibility for large-scale projects up to 1 Million.
- Assume schedule responsibility.
- Be responsible for the investment and replacement of obsolete machinery/equipment within manufacturing.
- Provide financial (Business case) and technical justification for the definition and operation of the project.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both within and outside the department.
- Work with resource managers.
Skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial project management.
- PMP, PMI-ACP certification (asset).
- Knowledge of logistics activities.
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification (asset).
