Type: Full-time, permanent

Hybrid position: 4 days onsite and 1 day teleworking (the day will be flexible)

About the project

As an industrial project manager / continuous improvement manager, you will use your project management skills to coordinate, plan, execute industrial manufacturing and/or logistics projects while ensuring that health & safety rules are respected and risks are eliminated.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement based on problem-solving techniques as well as Kaizen, "Six Sigma", "Lean", "Design Thinking" and Agile concepts.
• Implement improvement projects
• Define and control the evolution, key milestones and control points of the project and monitor them.
• Be responsible for the overall execution of your projects, from initiation to delivery.
• Assume budget responsibility for large-scale projects of up to 1 million.
• Assume schedule responsibility
• Be responsible for the investment and replacement of obsolete machinery/equipment within manufacturing.
• Provide a financial (Business case) and technical justification for project definition and operation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, both inside and outside the department.
• Work with resource managers

Skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial project management
• PMP, PMI-ACP certification (asset)
• Knowledge of logistics activities
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification (asset)
