SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages maintenance projects according to budget, plan, and schedule; project management tasks may be related to one or more aircraft;
- Liaises with the Finance department to ensure compliance with the project payment schedule;
- Acts as the primary point of contact for the client during the maintenance project, ensures that client authorizations are properly received, provides status reports and schedule updates, and ensures delivery of advance invoices and general billing review with the client;
- Leads team meetings and works with all relevant departments to produce timely project status reports;
- Reviews, validates, and ensures delivery of the final invoice to the client;
- Holds team meetings to review the project after its conclusion and analyzes production and financial margins.
- Follows up with the client at the end of the project and resolves any issues after the aircraft's departure to ensure client satisfaction; communicates with internal departments as needed.
- Ensures high-quality customer service throughout the duration of maintenance projects
EDUCATION AND SKILLS:
- Post-secondary education or diploma in aircraft maintenance or a related field;
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in the aviation sector;
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to coordinate and manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize accordingly;
- Aircraft Maintenance Technician license considered an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build successful professional relationships with employees, clients, management, and other departments;
- Exceptional customer service skills, with great attention to detail and exemplary oral and written communication skills;
- Basic budgeting knowledge, considered an asset;
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite programs, particularly Excel, and ability to quickly adapt to new programs and specialized operational software.
