The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking an Operations Manager (m/f) to join our evening operations team based in Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.
You will be part of the operations team responsible for A220 assembly.
The team is structured to promote collaborative, autonomous teamwork, mutual support, and collective learning.
Your role as Operations Manager will be to:

Your challenges:
Exercise your leadership with a team of supervisors, while respecting Airbus's vision and values.
Identify, document, and standardize the key processes leading to the achievement of objectives.
Ensure continuous improvement, particularly through the application of the problem-solving process.
Establish and monitor the achievement of production targets.
Coach your team of supervisors to develop their talent within the organization.
Optimize the sharing of knowledge and best practices within the organization.
Your profile:
You have experience managing a team of supervisors in a manufacturing environment (aerospace experience is an asset). You are fluent in French (bilingualism is an asset).
You have an understanding of the principles of value-added production.
You have strong communication skills.
You have the ability to plan and organize to ensure results are achieved.
You have an entrepreneurial spirit.
You have a college or university degree in aerospace, engineering, or manufacturing management, or equivalent experience that has allowed you to develop strong management skills.
This position may involve business travel (worldwide).
This position involves frequent business travel, and as such, you must be able to travel accordingly.
