The Product Manager - Data is responsible for defining, prioritizing and managing data product roadmaps for their respective domains, with an emphasis on assets in an enterprise data warehouse.
This key role carries our data product vision with a focus on a continuous delivery model and overall success.
Responsibilities
- Define the vision, roadmap and prioritization for data-driven initiatives.
- Lead and influence others to achieve results in a matrixed team.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog while working with agile delivery teams.
- Analyze business needs, translate them into clear requirements, and ensure data solutions meet stakeholder expectations.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams by tracking delivery progress and reporting key milestones to leadership.
- Develop innovative and effective approaches to solve business problems using data analytics.
- Actively communicate results and methodologies.
- Understand and document data dependencies, business rules and data flow schemas for the solution, including between the source and systems that consume the data, as well as logical processes and interfaces with other systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred), with a minimum of five years' experience in data and analytics initiatives in a senior role (e.g., product management, data science, business intelligence, etc.).
- Knowledge of analytics, data platforms and user validation methods.
- Practical experience covering the full product lifecycle.
- Creative mindset, ability to define and implement a vision, and flexibility to adapt as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to act as an intermediary between business and technical teams.
- Strong reasoning ability, solid analytical skills, strong business acumen and good judgment.
- Initiative, a positive attitude, and curiosity to learn.
- Exceptional communication, presentation and leadership skills.
- Punctuality, reliability and the ability to contribute to team success in a dynamic environment.
Conditions of employment:
