The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Section Chief to join our Project Management, Product Development team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you transform complex technical challenges into operational success.
You will be part of the Project Management, Product Development team responsible for planning and controlling the Aircraft configuration changes.
The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as Section Chief will be to act as the bridge between Airbus’s strategic vision and technical execution, ensuring the optimization of our working methods.

Your challenges:
- Inspire and Mobilize: Build a high-performing team by fostering an environment rooted in autonomy, accountability, and creativity.

- Configuration Management: Lead aircraft modification activities, from the initial design phase through to in-service support.
- Strategic Governance: Define and optimize processes, methods, and tools to ensure the fluid execution of engineering projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities to enhance the overall performance of the A220 program.
- Global Reach: Collaborate within the international Airbus network to integrate global best practices and standardize our ways of working.
- Decision Support: Provide critical analysis and strategic recommendations for the Head of Engineering and executive leadership.
Your boarding pass:
- Education: Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent solid professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in technical project management (expertise in aerospace program development is a major asset) and team management.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of the aircraft life cycle, configuration management, CAD, and certification requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to navigate change, influence diverse stakeholders, and align a team with strategic priorities.
- Analytical Mindset: A talent for simplifying complex issues and communicating clear, actionable plans.
- Communication: Bilingualism (French and English) is essential, both spoken and written.
