Job description

Do you have experience in HR Transformation project management and/or HRIS consulting, including proven team leadership, and are you looking to grow and develop new skills? If so, this position is for you!

The A220 Commercial Aircraft Programme is seeking its HO HR Transformation to join our Human Resources team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

You will be part of the HR Transformation/Digital team responsible for orchestrating the transition toward new HR operating models, integrating changes in processes, organizational culture, and digital solutions. You will act as the primary driver of change to make the HR function more high-performing, agile, and aligned with industrial objectives.

Your challenges

1. Leading Global HR Transformation & Team Leadership

  • Optimization of HR practices: diagnose, design and deploy cross-functional HR practices to increase overall organisational performance.
  • Modernisation of the operating model: review collaboration methods between HR partners, Centers of Expertise and managers to simplify HR service delivery.
  • Team leadership: lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team.

2. A human-centric digital ecosystem

  • HRIS expertise: act as subject matter expert for the evolution of HR solutions (Workday, CRM, talent tools) in close collaboration with regional (Americas) and global hubs.
  • Innovation & AI: explore and implement innovative solutions (AI, automation) to support HR transformation initiatives.
  • Global/local alignment: ensure Airbus's global technological solutions integrate seamlessly with Canada's operational and unionised realities.

3. Data governance and performance

  • Data-driven culture: deploy advanced dashboards (HR analytics) to support strategic decision-making (retention, diversity, workforce management).
  • Compliance and integrity: oversee data quality and ensure strict compliance with personal information protection standards.
  • Risk management: anticipate impacts related to technological changes and manage contingency plans.

4. Change management and influence

  • Stakeholder support: act as an advisor and change agent for HR leaders to facilitate adoption of new ways of working.
  • Strategic communication: distill complex transformation issues and produce high-quality documentation (presentations, analyses) to engage teams.
  • Matrix navigation: collaborate with regional and international sites to ensure consistency of transformation strategies.

Your profile

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR Management, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Business Administration.
  • Experience: Approximately 7 to 10 years in HR Transformation project management and/or HRIS consulting, including proven team management experience.
  • Technical proficiency: Extensive experience with Workday (a major asset) or another world-class HRIS.

  • Strong change management skills within complex and unionised environments.
  • Sharp analytical mind with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Mobilising leadership focused on coaching and talent development.
  • Proven ability to thrive within an international and multicultural matrix structure.
  • Languages: bilingualism (French and English) is essential.

Travel required:

  • Up to 5% domestic and international travel.
