The A220 Commercial Aircraft Program is seeking a Technical Support Manager for A220 Prefal to join our Technical Support team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). In this role, you will work closely with the technical support team and production managers.

You will be part of the TSFS (Technical Support Floor Support) team, responsible for addressing technical issues that exceed the direct control of operators and First Line Managers (FLM), while focusing on identifying, analyzing, and solving recurrent technical challenges. Providing an end-to-end (E2E) perspective at the shop floor level within the production team is a crucial aspect of this role.

Your Role

As a Technical Support Manager, you will manage ME Production Support for the A220 Prefal and serve as the "Voice of the HO ME" (Head of Manufacturing Engineering) toward the CDTs (Core Delivery Teams). You will integrate ME Development, Build Processes, SLB, Jigs & Tools (J&T), Site Services & Maintenance, as well as Digital and Industrial Innovations.

Your Challenges:

• Production Management: Manage ME Production Support for A220 Prefal.
• Stakeholder Integration: Act as the voice of the HO ME towards CDTs regarding Build Processes, SLB, J&T, and Industrial Innovations.
• Scope: A220 Prefal in Mirabel.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders in VSM Operations (Maintenance, Preparation, Ground Test, PPE/ISE, Digital, Logistics, etc.).
• Network: Connect with Airbus ME in Europe (OM) as part of the global ME community.
• Management: Lead a team of approximately 25 people (including contractors and Work Packages).
• Finance: Accountable for OPEX and CAPEX budgets, budget control, and resource capacity for the VSM.

Core Responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, and solve recurrent technical issues beyond the scope of operators and FLMs.
• Optimize results through planning, production control, and process design.
• Achieve Industrial Excellence targets by ensuring adherence to operational processes.
• ME Development / SOI: Manage Work Orders and Methods change requests as the local technical leader at each station.
• Build Process & SLB/PPE: Ensure SLB (Synchronized Line Balancing) performance and support R@R (Run @ Rate) exercises for ramp-up.
• J&T / Maintenance: Ensure proper implementation and improvement of Jigs & Tools and plant layout.
• Digital Innovation: Support the digital roadmap and introduce new tools.

Your Profile:

• You hold an academic and/or technical degree in aerospace and/or management with approximately ten (10) years of experience.
• You demonstrate leadership, sound judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• You have a proven track record of managing technical projects to ensure optimal product industrialization.
• You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
