Head of Business Process & Data Foundations
Do you thrive on leading complex transformations, and are you an expert in structuring enterprise-grade data and business process governance? Do you excel at modeling the operational complexity of a global enterprise, establishing systemic resilience (business continuity), and designing rich, fast, and highly accurate semantic ontologies for seamless agentic grounding? Then this job is for you!
The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is seeking an impactful leader to join our Digital & Business Transformation team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). Operating as an agile innovation "Speed Boat" that is redefining our operating model and driving a paradigm shift by 2030, our team fosters an adaptive, collaborative culture to modernize our end-to-end ways of working and establish lasting trust in advanced intelligent systems and emerging technologies.
Your role as Head of Business Process & Data Foundations will be to co-architect and support the structural blueprint, data integrity frameworks, and unified "One Referential" of our 2030 transformation, establishing the robust enterprise foundations required for secure, autonomous operations.
Your working environment:
The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is headquartered in Mirabel, in the greater Montreal area, where the vibrant city of Montreal is just a stone's throw away. How we care for you:

- Wellbeing/Health: Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Discount Program, on-site Medical Service, access to a public shuttle service between Laval (Montmorency metro station) and Mirabel, and a carpooling application.
- Individual development: Great upskilling opportunities and development prospects with unlimited access to +10.000 e-learning courses to develop your employability, certifications, accelerated development programmes, national and international mobility.
Your challenges:
- Enterprise Process Strategy & "One Referential" Alignment: Establish and direct the end-to-end business process harmonization roadmap to deliver target maturity standards by 2030, securing a unified process language across all global program sites.
- Systemic Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery: Build, define, and stress-test comprehensive Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) models to protect global manufacturing and assembly operations from unexpected disruptions.
- Supporting "Agentic" & Regulatory Resilience: Partner closely with key stakeholders to support and ensure the systemic compliance and auditability of both our legacy and agent-driven processes and data structures before internal and external regulatory bodies.
- Team Leadership & Operational Governance: Manage and grow a specialized, multidisciplinary team of enterprise architects, process specialists, and data specialists, while establishing a robust process owner framework to anchor sustainable process literacy and operational discipline.
- Unified Data Governance & High-Fidelity Data Foundations: Implement and operationalize the Enterprise Data Catalog, metadata standards, and data quality frameworks across the organization to secure a definitive, highly structured single source of truth semantics.
- Rich Ontology & Agentic Grounding: Direct the design and evolution of a rich, high-performance enterprise ontology engineered to deliver fast and highly accurate data grounding for autonomous AI agents.
- Tacit Knowledge Gateway (The Handshake): Act as the final validation and integration authority to translate captured tacit human expertise and informal know-how into structured, formalized, and scalable semantic knowledge assets within the enterprise ontology.
- Enforcement of the "Agent-Ready" Certification Gate & Learning Integrity: Enforce the mandatory "Agent-Ready" certification gate as the primary validation authority for semantic data structures, while managing automated monitoring and Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) feedback loops to continuously maintain and heal our collective knowledge layers.
Your profile:
- Education & Credentials: University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, or Business Administration, ideally combined with advanced architecture, data management, or business continuity professional credentials.
- Industrial Leadership Experience: Solid, progressive experience leading strategic enterprise-wide transformations, end-to-end process engineering, and high-fidelity data governance within complex, global manufacturing ecosystems (Aerospace highly preferred).
- Systemic Resilience & Regulatory Adherence: Practical experience in orchestrating Business Continuity Planning (BCP), and a proven capability to support compliance and auditability of complex operational processes (including agent-driven pipelines) before external regulatory bodies.
- AI Ontology & Semantic Modeling: Deep understanding of how structured and unstructured semantic ontologies impact the safety, ethics, and performance of autonomous agentic AI systems.
- Operational Excellence & Shifting: Proven capability to transition complex process and data architectures from 'Project' phases to sustained 'Run' operations while maintaining regulatory compliance and process literacy.
- Executive Presence & Diplomacy: Strong executive presence, emotional intelligence, and diplomatic acumen to partner effectively with cross-functional leadership, align enterprise standards, and represent structural foundations to senior stakeholders.
- Bilingualism: Professional bilingualism in English and French to communicate complex technical and governance strategies clearly across multinational structures and support regulatory audits.
