Workplace: St-Hubert/YUL (Must be willing to work at all our satellite bases)
Status: Regular full-time
Schedule: 14 consecutive working days followed by 7 days off

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Under the responsibility of the Director of Flight Operations - Airplane, your role consists of safely planning and managing aeromedical evacuation flights, in close cooperation with the flight crew and ground crew.
More specifically, you will:
- Prepare flights, in collaboration with the first officer, as part of operations;
- Pilot our aircraft as part of operations;
- Ensure that all flight operations take place safely and in compliance with standards;
- Work in collaboration with the medical crew throughout the patient evacuation;
- Work with team members during missions and waiting periods;
- Work in close collaboration with various trades and emergency services;
- Support the crew throughout patient care;
- Apply and always be up to date with organizational, flight, and regulatory procedures;
- Maintain your skills and actively participate in airplane division projects.

- Excellent knowledge of systems and procedures specific to the Learjet 45 XR and at Airmedic;

- Respect current regulations, procedures, and laws;
- Bilingual (French and English)
* Professional level English is required for communication with English-speaking clients or external partners such as air traffic controllers and ground teams in various countries. Additionally, this may meet legal and regulatory requirements for international operations.
Your professional background stands out with:
Technical requirements
- Valid ATPL;
- Hold a valid Category 1 medical certificate without restrictions for night flight;
- Meet French and English language proficiency standards minimum ICAO level 5.
Licences and Certification
- Valid PIC PPC on Learjet 40, 45, 70 and/or 75 (Includes LR45XR and LR40XR) (Must be acquired within the first month of employment if required);
- Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL);
- SAMRA, SARON;
- Valid Group 1 instrument rating;
Experience
- Minimum of 1500 total flight hours;
- Minimum of 500 hours of jet flight time;
- Previous experience as a PIC in IFR;
- International experience (asset);
Asset: Experience on Learjet 40, 45, 70 and 75 (includes LR45XR and LR40XR)
Continuing education
- Commitment to promptly follow and maintain continuing education and mandatory certifications.
Additional requirements
- Ability to work and perform a normal and sustained work mission for 14 consecutive days, with shifts lasting up to 14 hours, including weekends and holidays;
- Eligible to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC);
- Valid Canadian passport without restrictions (authorized to travel to the United States and internationally);
- No criminal record that would impede the ability to travel to the United States and internationally;
