The Air Canada Concierge Service Agent is primarily responsible for providing personalized, detail-oriented service with a focus on recognition to Aeroplan Super Elite 100K members, other top-tier members, and Signature Class customers at the airport (arrivals, check-in, departures, and in the maple leaf lounges).
The Concierge Service Agent must constantly look out for the needs of Air Canada's branded customers and provide excellent service at all times, in accordance with customer service guidelines and company safety rules. The person in this position must be able to solve all kinds of problems, as well as know how to ask for help and who to turn to to get it. By establishing professional and positive relationships with our most frequent customers, the Concierge Service Agent contributes to customer loyalty to the brand.
Responsibilities:
- Greet high-value customers at the check-in counter and escort them to the lounge, if applicable.
- Help resolve high-value customer issues upon arrival and departure, including ticketing, upgrades, connections, baggage retrieval, and last-minute arrangements.
- Assist high-value customers at boarding gates.
- Greet high-value customers in the lounges.
- Communicate with the 24/7 Concierge Service as needed.
- Communicate with Concierge Service agents posted at other stations worldwide, as well as with local representatives (hotels, other carriers).
- Propose solutions for high-value customers, particularly in the event of irregular operations.
- Maintain daily reports on Concierge Service activities, log problems, and follow up as necessary.
- Liaise with Concierge Service groups to assist in handling important or high-value customers.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Internet, emails, Word, Excel, and use of the Altéa Reservation system.
- Degree in tourism, an asset.
- Experience in a similar position, an asset.
- Ticketing knowledge, an asset.
- Availability for travel (seminars, training, etc.).
- Obtaining an airport pass.
- Wearing the uniform according to company rules.
- Compliance with Airport Security and safety rules.
Conditions of Employment:
Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the country targeted at the time a job offer is made and are responsible for obtaining work permits, visas or other necessary authorizations. Proof of eligibility must be provided prior to the start date.
Language Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Japanese and English (written and spoken) - knowledge of other foreign languages an asset.
