The Air Canada Concierge Service agent offers personalized service focused on recognition and attention to detail to Aeroplan Super Elite 100K members, other top-tier members and Signature Class customers at the airport (arrivals, check-in, departures and in the lounges).

The Concierge Service agent must constantly monitor the needs of Air Canada's brand customers and provide excellent service at all times, in accordance with the company's customer service policy and safety rules. The incumbent must be able to resolve various issues, and know how and from whom to ask for help. By building professional and positive relationships with our most frequent customers, the Concierge Service agent helps build brand loyalty.

Responsibilities:

  • Welcome high-value customers at the check-in counter and accompany them to the lounge, if applicable.
  • Help resolve high-value customer issues upon arrival and departure, including ticketing, upgrades, connections, baggage retrieval and last-minute arrangements.
  • Assist high-value customers at boarding gates.
  • Welcome high-value customers in the lounges.
  • Communicate with the Concierge Service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as needed.
  • Communicate with Concierge Service agents stationed at other stations worldwide, as well as with local representatives (hotels, other carriers).
  • Propose solutions for high-value customers, particularly in the event of operational disruptions.
  • Keep daily reports on Concierge Service activities up to date, log issues and follow up on them, as needed.
  • Liaise with Concierge Service groups to assist in handling important or high-value customers.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Internet, emails, Word, Excel and the use of the Altéa Reservation system.
  • Tourism studies diploma (bac +2) desirable.
  • Experience in a similar position desirable.
  • Ticketing knowledge desirable.
  • Availability for travel (seminars, training, etc.).
  • Ability to obtain a restricted area access badge for the airport.
  • Wearing the Company uniform in accordance with Air Canada Uniform Standards and Dress Standards.
  • Compliance with Airport Security and safety rules.

Employment conditions:

Candidates must be eligible to work in the country concerned at the time a job offer is presented and are responsible for obtaining work permits, visas or other necessary authorizations. Proof of eligibility must be provided before the start date.

Language Requirements

English and French (Fluent). Knowledge of other foreign languages appreciated.
