What your daily life will look like

• Use various machining processes, analyzes and improvises setups and methods, performs necessary calculations and programming.

• Calculate and program changes for machining and to compensate for dimensional variations of tools, gauges, parts or machine condition, using computer software.

• Set, adjust and operate equipment such as sandblasting, polishing machines and waxing or de-waxing basins.

• Perform rapid maintenance work, minor epoxy work and detail installation.

• Interpret part views and dimensions.

• Select or improvise setups and fixture methods according to the part to be machined.

• This position takes place in a French-speaking work environment, nevertheless it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand certain specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations.

Education

• DEC in machining technique

• Mechanical engineering technique

• Aerospace engineering technique

Experience

• Ideally the candidate will have one to two years of experience
