Job Description

The travel consultant participates in the planning and booking of vacations for our clientele, by analyzing their needs and proposing adapted destinations, itineraries and products.

As part of this specific mandate, you will also play a support role for existing consultants, both in terms of sales and daily operations. You will actively contribute to the management of client files, administrative follow-ups and the optimization of branch service.

Your responsibilities will notably include opening and tracking files, payments, changes, special requests, confirmations, as well as supporting the client throughout their journey, until their return from travel.

The position is aimed at a candidate willing to work according to a fixed schedule including evenings and weekends, offering stability and predictability in a context of extended opening hours.

Your main responsibilities

  • Advise clients on travel options offered by our partners and actively participate in sales according to branch traffic and needs.
  • Support existing consultants in the daily management of sales and client files, including the preparation, follow-up and finalization of reservations.
  • Ensure complete management of client files, from creation to finalization of the trip, including payments, changes, special requests and confirmations.
  • Contribute to the optimization of branch operations by taking charge of various administrative and operational support tasks.
  • Identify the needs of clients present in the branch and propose adapted solutions, in collaboration with the team in place.
  • Participate in the sale of travel products in different categories, including simple or more complex packages and itineraries, depending on the level of experience.
  • Maintain professional and efficient service during extended hours to ensure business continuity and a quality customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Openness to profiles with or without travel experience. Experience in sales or customer service, retail or in an environment with objectives is an asset.
  • Strong interest in customer service, sales and branch work.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients and offer professional and attentive service.
  • Team spirit, collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
  • Good communication skills, dynamism and a sense of initiative.
  • Comfort with computer tools, social media, or demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Availability to work a fixed schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Mandatory OPC certification

Additional Information

  • Base salary and commission
  • Schedule: Thursday and Friday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., as well as Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
