MHIRJ is the merger of two significant legacies: Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program. We provide comprehensive operational, engineering and customer support solutions, including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, and marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. We are seeking a Senior Advisor, Talent & Culture to join our team!

Job summary

The Senior Advisor, Talent & Culture will be responsible for designing, implementing and continuously improving talent management programs while delivering high-quality training and facilitation in both French and English. This role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, program delivery capability, and practical facilitation expertise.

Key contributions as Senior Advisor, Talent & Culture

Talent management programs

  • Lead the design, development and implementation of key talent management processes, such as:
    • Performance management
    • Leadership and interpersonal skills development programs
    • Succession planning
    • Career development
    • Employee engagement and retention
    • Employee listening
    • Organizational culture transformation
    • Change management
  • Ensure talent programs are aligned with MHIRJ's strategic priorities and business objectives.
  • Track and evaluate program effectiveness using data, analytics and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote inclusive talent practices in line with diversity, equity and inclusion principles.

Training and facilitation

  • Deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and leadership programs in English and French.
  • Facilitate talent discussions, including calibration sessions and leadership forums.
  • Adapt learning solutions to different audiences to ensure high engagement and impact.

Business partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR partners on talent-related matters.
  • Support leaders in identifying, developing and retaining key talent.
  • Collaborate to embed talent management practices across the employee lifecycle.

Change management and communication

  • Support the rollout of talent initiatives through effective communication and change management strategies.
  • Develop tools, templates and communication materials to empower leaders and employees.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in talent management, organizational development or a related field.
  • Experience designing and implementing talent management programs.
  • Experience facilitating training sessions and workshops for diverse audiences.
  • Professional experience in a corporate, industrial or aviation-related environment (asset).
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset and excellent execution capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to use data for decision-making.
  • High adaptability, collaborative spirit and professionalism.
  • English is required for this role because the selected person will regularly communicate with colleagues, clients or partners located outside Quebec.
