The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for Total Rewards Advisor to join our Total Rewards team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will play a strategic and operational advisory role for HR teams.

You will be part of a team responsible for designing, deploying, and administering direct and indirect compensation programs, conducting market analyses, and ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness for the A220 program.

The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively.

Your role as Total Rewards Advisor will be to lead annual compensation review cycles, perform job evaluations, and serve as a subject matter expert for HR Business Partners (HRBP) on all compensation matters.

Your challenges:

  • Strategic HR Advisory: Act as the Total Rewards subject matter expert for HRBPs and hiring managers regarding overall compensation and benefits decisions (job offers, promotions, equity adjustments, and retention).
  • Benefits Management & Optimization: Support the oversight and administration of group insurance, pension, and well-being programs, analyze market trends in employee benefits, and evaluate vendor performance.
  • Job Evaluation & Classification: Perform job grading and positioning (Grades/Bands) according to Airbus internal frameworks and market benchmarking surveys (Mercer MBD).
  • Annual Cycles Management: Coordinate and execute the annual salary review process (Merit Increase), bonus allocations (STI), and annual benefits enrollment campaigns for the A220 perimeter.
  • Market Intelligence & Internal Equity: Conduct comprehensive compensation and benefits benchmarking studies, analyze aerospace market trends, and ensure compliance with legal pay equity standards.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to corporate total rewards policies, regulatory compliance for benefit plans.

Your boarding pass:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant total rewards/compensation experience, ideally within a large corporate organization or specialized consulting firm.
  • Proven expertise in job evaluation methodologies and market surveys (experience with Mercer methodology is a strong asset).
  • Strong advisory mindset with proven ability to influence and guide business managers and HR partners.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities (advanced formulas, modeling, pivot tables) and proficiency with HRIS platforms (Workday an asset).
  • Strong analytical acumen, high rigor, and the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Functional bilingualism (French and English), spoken and written. Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers also located across the globe, functional English is required for this position.
