You have experience as administrative and operational support in human resources and you wish to evolve and develop new skills? This position is for you!

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join our human resources team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

In this position, you will be part of the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team where the team organization is established to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutually supporting each other and learning collectively.

As the incumbent of the position, you will perform an operational and administrative support role, supporting HRBPs on various activities surrounding human resources processes and policies. You will be responsible for updating systems such as Workday and, if necessary, providing support to employees.

Your challenges:

Administrative support:

  • Perform Workday updates related to all employee lifecycle actions, from hiring to retirement;

  • Master the Workday system and manage administrative processes such as employment contracts (permanent, fixed-term, intern), employee file management, absence management, etc.;

  • Extract various reports and ensure data consistency in the system, by analyzing indicators and submitting recommendations to the HRBP based on actions and trends to support strategic decision-making;

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying risks and alerting the HRBP to various problematic situations;

  • Prepare various administrative supports for the HRBP team to ensure standardization and consistency of transmitted information;

  • Support the HRBP in the People Tempo cycle, including planning assistance, tool creation, support documentation, and communications to be transmitted;

  • Organize and prepare respective reviews and ensure quality and timely reports;

  • Participate in various meetings such as team meetings and complete meeting minutes and action plan;

  • Ensure compliance with data consolidation in the shared directory;

  • Ensure coordination of all activities surrounding termination of employment and ensure tangible data is transmitted on reasons for departures and reduction in attrition;

  • Ensure that all relevant policies and procedures are implemented and complied with.

Employee support:

  • Provide support to employees by answering their questions referred by HR Connect, guiding them to the right resources, and helping them understand HR policies and procedures, etc.;

  • Refer employees to the HRBP in conflict situations or when support is needed.

Requirements

Your profile:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree or a certificate in human resources management;

  • You have a minimum of one year of experience in a human resources support role;

  • You are fluent in French and English, both spoken and written;

  • You are a good communicator with the ability to build and maintain good relationships;

  • You are results-oriented and organized with the ability to plan and meet deadlines;

  • You demonstrate initiative and judgment and act as a facilitator in change management;

  • You demonstrate aptitude in a fast-paced and often interrupted work environment.
