Reporting to the Head of Marketing - Brand Commercialization - Quebec, the Advisor - Marketing - Brand Commercialization - Quebec is responsible for the development, management, and daily implementation of the brand strategy and annual marketing plans specific to the Quebec market.
More specifically, the person holding this position touches on multiple facets of marketing in order to increase brand affinity and its relevance on a provincial scale.
This implies the development of high-level integrated marketing programs, based on strategic ideas, which promote a positive perception and commitment to the brand in Quebec and which, ultimately, make it possible to achieve Air Canada's business objectives. The nature of the projects is varied, ranging from traditional mass campaigns to brand partnerships, including sponsorships and content campaigns, in particular. This position requires a versatile marketing expert with campaign management experience who is results-oriented, well-versed in all aspects of brand marketing, and has a deep knowledge of Quebec culture and the French language.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of annual brand commercialization plans to generate a positive sentiment towards the brand and engagement in the Quebec market.
- Manage and coordinate the deployment of integrated multichannel marketing initiatives with excellence, leveraging owned, earned, and paid media, as well as other marketing levers, including strategic partnerships, sponsorships, experiential marketing, content marketing, and public relations.
- Lead internal and external partners in the development of brand content, creative material, and media campaigns designed for the Quebec market.
- Coordinate internal campaign planning and execution processes, including post-campaign analysis, to ensure compliance with deadlines and resource planning.
- Ensure alignment and complementarity between the brand strategy for Quebec and the national brand strategy by collaborating closely with the various brand teams.
- Manage budgets related to projects, notably purchase authorizations, invoicing, and budget reconciliation.
- Take into account consumer research and commercial and industry data in order to define objectives, establish a measurement plan, and ensure the monitoring and presentation of campaign results.
- Collaborate with other stakeholders of the Quebec strategy and other business units to identify opportunities and maximize the impact of our collective efforts.
- Establish strong, cross-functional, and cooperative working relationships with other teams involved in brand commercialization initiatives in Quebec (e.g., national partnerships and events teams, Sales and Business Development, Community Relations, Air Canada Foundation, Line Marketing).
- Think strategically and creatively to bring innovative ideas and implement best practices based on industry trends and research data.
- Provide support to the Head of Marketing - Brand Commercialization - Quebec, as needed.
Qualifications
- University degree with a specialization in marketing, communications, or business.
- Three to five years or more of professional experience in marketing or a related field (prior professional experience in the airline or travel sector, an asset).
- In-depth knowledge of all aspects of brand marketing and communication, including brand partnerships, emerging digital channels, and social media.
- Fluency in the multichannel campaign management process, including brief writing, campaign development coordination (creation, media plan), deployment, and post-campaign analysis (experience working with creative and media agencies an asset).
- Strong interest in brand-related communications and experience in this field to ensure proper understanding and use of brand positioning and guidelines.
- In-depth knowledge of Quebec culture and the French language.
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor to solve a wide range of marketing issues. A keen eye for detail is essential.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- High motivation to succeed with drive and enthusiasm.
- Autonomy, strong organizational sense, and deep willingness to take initiative and assume responsibility for one's work.
- Ability to demonstrate agility and resilience to deliver quality work in a constantly evolving environment with a high volume of activity, within a high-performing, results-oriented team.

- Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the team's overall success in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
