Position – Sr. Cabinet Builder

Location: Denton

We are currently seeking experienced Senior Cabinet Builders to support Greenpoint operations in Denton.

This position will support the fabrication, assembly, fitting, and finishing of aircraft cabinetry and interior components while maintaining high standards for fit, finish, workmanship, and quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, modify, and repair aircraft cabinetry and interior components
  • Build cabinetry in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Measure, cut, fit, shape, and assemble cabinet components and materials
  • Perform detailed fitting and adjustment of cabinetry and interior components
  • Install hardware, fasteners, and related cabinet components
  • Inspect completed work for dimensions, fit, alignment, and appearance
  • Repair or modify cabinetry when required to meet installation requirements
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
  • Use woodworking tools, hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment
  • Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, appearance, and workmanship
  • Coordinate with technicians, leads, inspectors, and other departments as required
  • Maintain accurate production documentation
  • Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience and Certification

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of aviation cabinet fabrication experience required
  • Experience fabricating and assembling aircraft interior cabinetry required
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and fabrication documentation preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of aircraft cabinet fabrication and assembly practices
  • Ability to measure, cut, shape, fit, and assemble cabinetry accurately
  • Experience using woodworking tools, power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Strong understanding of fit, finish, alignment, and workmanship requirements
  • Ability to identify and correct fabrication discrepancies
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced aircraft production environment

Work Environment and Physical Demands

The employee will work in shop, hangar, and aircraft interior environments and may be exposed to dust, adhesives, solvents, noise, and materials commonly associated with cabinet fabrication.

The employee may be required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift.

Eligible GAL AeroStaff contract employees may receive:
