You have industrial experience in operations support or mechanics, and you want to invest yourself in a major shipyard?
This position is for you! Your role as a Naval Constructor will be to prepare the ground, support the trades and bring blueprints from paper to reality while maintaining a safe environment.
Full-time job Per diem of $150/day if residing more than 70 km from the site
Security requirement: Permanent Resident (PR) status or Canadian Citizenship mandatory (CGD & Protected B)

Responsibilities
Support painting, install insulation, pre-cut cabling and perform metal finishing (grinding, fabrication, cleaning and bevel polishing);
Drive trucks and forklifts to ensure material circulation;
Maintain clean and safe areas, manage waste and ensure never to slow down the shipyard's pace;
Detect discrepancies, report any non-compliance and maintain tools;
Work in close collaboration with the foreman in strict compliance with OHS standards.
Skills and qualifications
Possess a High School Diploma (DES), a Construction Site Card (ASP Construction Worker), a DEP in a related field OR significant experience in an industrial environment;
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders;
Be eligible for a security clearance from the federal government's Contract Security Program (minimum of 5 years of continuous residence in Canada);
Hold Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen status;
Demonstrate versatility, reliability, rigor and good teamwork skills.
