Job Description

In your role, you will be required to:

• Ensure that all components used in the manufacture of an aircraft (e.g., major structure, interior finishing furniture, mechanical, avionics, electrical, hydraulic systems) comply with the specifications established by company and industry standards;
• Read and interpret technical plans and drawings;
• Perform visual and manual inspections using measurement tools according to engineering standards, procedures, and quality assurance guidelines;
• Regularly check stores to ensure that received or shipped items are properly labeled (colors, part numbers, and tags);
• Assign reference numbers and storage life expiration dates to appropriate materials;
• Conduct audits;
• Approve compliant work;
• Write non-conformity inspection reports and technical anomaly sheets;
• Liaise with floor operators, engineering, and methods.

Requirements

As an ideal candidate, you possess:

• A DEC in industrial engineering, a DEC or AEC in aircraft construction/manufacturing, or a DEC or AEC in mechanical engineering;
• Good knowledge of software such as Word, Excel, SAP, HMS, Catia V5 (an asset);
• 1 year of relevant experience;
• Proficiency in French and English, both oral and written;
• Knowledge of geometric tolerancing (an asset).
