Air Canada is looking for a Technical Data Controller in the Maintenance department. The candidate must demonstrate a strong sense of organization and investigative skills, work autonomously, and present the results of their inventory audits accurately and in a timely manner.
The incumbent will work at the Operations Hangar, near Montreal International Airport. The current starting salary is $23.61/hour, depending on experience and in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Job duties and required qualifications
- Liaise with other warehouses, departments, clients, and manufacturer representatives, as well as internal staff, as needed.
- Analyze outputs and extract technical data from automated systems.
- Strong analytical skills as well as a keen interest and ability to work with data.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook) are essential.
- Ability to reorient efforts based on changing priorities and time constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) in interactions with staff or clients. Team spirit is essential.
- Good organizational skills, as well as a strong attention to detail.
- Curious nature; motivated.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and maintenance programs, an asset.
- Availability to work shifts and overtime as needed.
- Organize and protect all aircraft records.
- Conduct daily audits of technical logs, work orders, work documents, material documents, and related data for accuracy and follow up on errors or omissions.
- Process component changes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the country concerned, at the time any job offer is presented to them, and obtaining any permit, visa, or other authorization that may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this job.
