Air Canada is looking for a Technical Data Controller within the Maintenance directorate. The candidate must demonstrate a strong sense of organization and investigative skills, work independently, and present the results of their inventory audits accurately and in a timely manner.
The incumbent will work at the Activity Hangar, near the Montreal International Airport. The current initial salary is $29.06/hour, depending on experience and in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
Job duties and required qualifications
- Liaise with other warehouses, departments, customers, and manufacturer representatives, as well as internal staff, as needed.
- Strong analytical skills as well as a keen interest and ability to work with data.
- Computer skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook) are essential.
- Ability to redirect efforts based on changing priorities and time constraints.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) in dealing with staff or customers. Team spirit is essential.
- Good organizational skills, as well as great attention to detail.
- Inquisitive nature; motivated.
- Knowledge of logistics operations and maintenance programs, an asset.
- Availability to work shifts and overtime as needed.
- Proficiency in using Teams and SharePoint.
- Knowledge of collective agreements and working in a unionized environment.

Qualifications
- Candidates must have at least three years of experience in the customs sector.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliability to support the overall success of the team in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the country concerned at the time any job offer is presented to them, and obtaining any permit, visa, or other authorization that may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this job.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable transport security clearances and other additional accreditations, depending on the workplace. Please refer to the Transport Canada website for more details.
