Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Data Coordinator to join our team in Mill Bay.
The Data Coordinator will be responsible for managing and maintaining data systems, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the data needs for the MWAV program.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members across the country.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Manage and maintain data entry processes, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Collect, organize, transcribe and input data into data repositories such as SFTP, SharePoint, IPESA.
- Perform regular data quality checks, flagging and correcting inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for effective data management.
- Generate reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies, security regulations and company policies.
- Provide controlled and formally distributed data to internal and external customers.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of data documentation and guidelines.
- Support the implementation and adoption of new data tools and platforms.
- Support onboarding and training of new users in data management tools and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for routing data requests and troubleshooting.
- Assist in preparing data reports and data extracts for the program.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in data coordination, data management, or a similar role.
- Diploma in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities.
- Ability to work accurately and with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within an engineering or defence environment.
Compensation
The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between Total Target Cash (TTC) $66,646.80 - $100,000 CAD per year.
This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. Where a position falls within this range depends on factors including the employee's career history, competencies, skills and performance, the company's annual salary budget, the customer's program requirements, and internal equity. Thales may offer additional benefits and other compensation depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's protected status under local, state, or federal law.
