Customization Change Coordinator

The A220 commercial aircraft program is looking for a Customization Change Coordinator to join our A220 Product Offering team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada).

You will be part of the team responsible for managing the Standard Specification, the Catalogue of options and for evaluating customers requests.

The team is organized in such a way as to promote autonomous cross-functional collaboration, mutual support and collective learning.

Your role will be to coordinate the activities to support customer-facing teams by assessing the impacts (technical, cost, schedule) and producing commercial offers.

Your challenges:

• Coordinate response activities for customer specific requests regarding aircraft customization. This includes gathering technical, schedule, and cost impacts. You will interface with both internal teams (engineering, manufacturing engineering/methods, commercial...) and external stakeholders (suppliers).
• Consolidate the definition of the scope of change and offerability conditions.
• Lead the weekly meeting for progress review and offerability decision-making.
• Ensure the progress of studies and adherence to expected milestones and deliverables, keeping Program teams informed.
• Measure process performance and contribute to improvement projects.
• Manage priorities, anticipate disruptions, and implement recovery/corrective actions as needed. Escalate issues when necessary.

Your boarding pass:

• You have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in product design or management or in project management in a technical environment.
• You hold a Bachelor's degree, or a diploma/degree in engineering or management
• You are organized and possess strong interpersonal skills along with a great ability to work in a team environment.
• You have experience in customization management, ideally in aerospace and aircraft interiors, as well as a comprehensive understanding of aircraft architecture.
• You have a customer-focused mindset. Customer-facing experience is an asset.
• You have advanced proficiency in French and English and are able to work in a multicultural environment.

Due to the sector of activity (aerospace), frequent contacts with Airbus entities worldwide, and interactions with suppliers and clients also located across the globe, proficiency in English is required for this position.
