Your challenges:
Recurring costs ("Run") management and financial forecasting
Execution rate and OpEx monitoring: Ensure real-time visibility of all recurring operational expenses across domain products, including SaaS subscriptions, cloud infrastructure, maintenance contracts, and subcontractor utilization rates.
Subscription lifecycle management: Support the tracking of software license pools, renewal schedules, and seat utilization; ensure that recurring purchase orders (PO) and purchase requisition memos (PR Memos) are proactively generated months before contract expiration dates.
Live commitment dashboards: Maintain automated financial dashboards tracking multi-level expenditures across Large Solution trains and digital domains: Invoiced actuals, open purchase order (PO) commitments, and pending purchase requisition (PR) pipelines.
Large Solution financial forecasting: Collaborate with product managers/product owners to map upcoming pre/post-PI planning roadmaps into continuous 3-month and 12-month operational cost forecasts.
Recurring cost variance reporting: Provide monthly narrative reports to the North America Digital Governance Head explaining budget-to-actual variances, recurring cost drivers, and capacity trends relative to run rate.
Product Owner enablement and P2P execution
Request concierge service: Collaborate with SAFe Product Owners to gather technical prerequisites, draft purchase requests (PR) and PR memos for recurring costs and new capabilities, and route them through enterprise systems for rapid approval.
PO facilitation and tracking: Track purchase orders (PO) through enterprise workflows, liaise with internal teams, and provide clear status updates to Product Owners.
Goods Receipt (GR) concierge service: Invite Product Owners to verify delivery/service, perform Goods Receipts (GR) in SAP/Coupa, and resolve invoice holds or Accounts Payable (AP) discrepancies.
AI automation, process engineering, and PO coaching
AI task automation: Leverage Google Gemini to deploy low-code automation and AI agents (e.g., Power Automate, Copilot, OCR invoice parsers) to automate data extraction, PR/PO reconciliation, and routine status tracking.
Process Engineering (BPE): Continuously analyze and redesign internal procurement and intake workflows, replacing multi-step manual tasks with one-click or automated intake solutions.
Predictive insights: Utilize AI-assisted data modeling to flag abnormal spending, predict run-rate overruns, and automate monthly variance narrative analyses.
Governance enablement: Train and coach product managers/Product Owners on simplified, AI-supported financial workflows, protecting SAFe sprint velocity while maintaining strict governance.
Period-end financial close, accruals, and adjustments
Financial close execution: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, managing subcontractor time tracking/accruals, recurring accruals, prepayments, timesheet reconciliations, Airbus SAS cross-charging, and internal fund transfers.
AP and misallocation resolution: Audit Accounts Payable (AP) invoice allocations, correct miscoded cost centers and system errors to maintain accurate financial records without involving technical teams in troubleshooting.
Cross-border SLAs and "Go-Get" cost optimization
Intercompany SLAs: Coordinate, monitor, and update internal service level agreements (SLAs) and cross-charging frameworks linking ACLP, NA Digital Governance, and European entities (Airbus SAS / EU).
"Go-Get" target tracking: Actively audit recurring software line items, idle subcontractor purchase orders, and unbilled goods receipt balances to achieve function-wide cost reduction targets ("Go-Get") and release uncommitted funds.
